How Streambets works

Every market is a simple YES/NO question about a live stream. Here's exactly where your koins go and how winners get paid.

1Bets go into pools

Every market has a YES pool and a NO pool. Your bet joins the pool of the side you pick, and the split between the pools is the live probability you see everywhere — 61% YES means 61% of the money believes it happens. When the market resolves, the losing pool is paid out to the winning side, split in proportion to each winner's stake. There's no bookmaker line to beat — you're betting against everyone on the other side.

2Fees — 5% of the losing pool, nothing else

When a market resolves, 5% of the losing pool is taken before winnings are distributed: 3% to Streambets and 2% to whoever created the market. Winners always get their own stake back on top of their share of the rest. No deposit fees, no bet fees, no fee at all on voided markets — every stake is simply refunded.

3A market's life

Open — betting is on, odds move with every bet. Locked — betting closes before the prediction window starts, so nobody can bet on something already happening. Resolution — after the window ends, the creator proposes the outcome with evidence (like a VOD timestamp). Dispute window — bettors can challenge a wrong outcome before it becomes final. Resolved — winners are paid instantly, automatically.

4Wrong outcome? Dispute it

If a proposed outcome looks wrong, anyone with a stake can file a dispute during the dispute window and an admin reviews the evidence. Markets that can't be settled fairly are voided and every stake is refunded in full. Creators have skin in the game too: creating a market locks a stake that's only refunded on clean resolution, and creators can never bet on their own markets.

5Cash out early

Don't want to sweat the outcome? While a market is running you can sell your position back at its current value, based on the live odds. The house keeps 5% of the sale price and takes over your position — win or lose, that's the house's problem now.

6Play responsibly

Koins are play money. Real-money (€) markets are clearly marked, and your wallet has optional weekly deposit limits and self-exclusion — set them before you think you need them. 18+ only.

That's all of it — no fine print.
